Why this is not a voluntary muscle
The corpora cavernosa contain no voluntarily controlled skeletal muscle. Pelvic floor muscles are voluntary and located at the base of the penis, but they do not produce the erection: they accompany the function.
This distinction matters, because “squeezing harder” is not a physiological lever for erection. What the literature describes concerns nerve signalling quality, vascular health and general activation level.
